Green Smoothie Recipe
As someone who suffered from Anemia (Iron Deficiency) in my late teenage years, I understand the importance of maintaining proper iron levels.
This is a healthy and super yummy way to boost up your iron levels and even maybe avoid having to take extra iron supplements.
You can even add a banana for some extra energy and potassium or some strawberries for more antioxidants and natural sweetness.
Apple Cinnamon Chips Recipe
Apple Cinnamon Chips are the perfect natural treat for Fall and the Holidays. They’re sweet, crispy, and have a delicious hint of cinnamon.
Pack them in your children’s lunch boxes as a healthier alternative to potato chips or a great snack for on the go.
Just beware- they’re addicting and make your home smell like the Holidays.
Kale Salad Recipe
Need a delicious greens fix?
This is my absolute favorite kale recipe! It’s great by itself or as an addition to a mixed green salad. The oils and citrus help to break down the coarseness of the kale and keep it delicious for about 3 days in the fridge (day 2 is usually my favorite)! It certainly is spicy but you can tone the kick down to your liking.
Kale is an awesome source of superfoods and this salad is just what the doctor ordered!
Orange Blueberry Scones Recipe
There is something about the holidays that makes me think of yummy baked goodness. These scones are a cleaned up version of many traditional scones and are delicious…you can even add some dark chocolate chips if you’d like.
